Common use of Aircraft Technician Clause in Contracts

Aircraft Technician. Must be employed in Category 1, 19 or 38 with the ability to use the correct tools, methods, techniques and equipment required to perform aircraft maintenance. Employees hired after June 29, 2001, must hold a suitably rated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License. Employees hired prior to June 30, 2001, are not required to hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License.
