Common use of Airframe Clause in Contracts

Airframe. the aircraft (excluding Engines or engines from time to time installed thereon) manufactured by Airframe Manufacturer and identified by Airframe Manufacturer’s model number, United States registration number, and Airframe Manufacturer’s serial number in the Aircraft Description Exhibit, or (2) any Replacement Airframe, and in either case including any and all Parts incorporated or installed in or attached or appurtenant to such airframe, and any and all Parts removed from such airframe, unless the Lien of the Mortgage does not apply to such Parts in accordance with Section 4.4 of the Mortgage. Upon substitution of a Replacement Airframe under and in accordance with the Mortgage, such Replacement Airframe shall become subject to the Mortgage and shall be the “Airframe” for all purposes of the Operative Agreements, and the replaced Airframe shall cease to be subject to the Mortgage and shall cease to be the “Airframe”.
