Common use of Airframe Clause in Contracts

Airframe. If the Airframe does not comply with Paragraph (c)(ii) above, Lessee shall pay to Lessor an amount equal to the sum of the product of the current estimated cost of the next scheduled major airframe inspection (including in such estimated cost, all required replacement of life limited parts) multiplied by the fraction wherein the numerator shall be the greater of (i) zero, and (ii) the remainder of (x) the actual number of respective operating hours or months of operation since previous major airframe inspection, minus (y) 50% of the respective total operating hours or months of operation allowable between scheduled major airframe and pressure vessel inspections, and the denominator shall be the respective total operating hours or months of operation between scheduled major airframe inspections.
