Common use of Airport Security Clause in Contracts

Airport Security. If the Authority is deemed to be in noncompliance with laws or regulations governing access to secure areas of the Airport and said non-compliance is the result of or due to the act or omission of the Contractor or of any of the Contractor’s employees, agents, subcontractors or sublessees, and such breach results in an action against the Authority by the Transportation Security Administration or any other federal, state or local government with authority over security at the airport, the Contractor agrees to reimburse the Authority for all expenses, including reasonable attorney fees incurred by the Authority in defending against the action and for any fine, penalty or settlement amount paid by the Authority as a result of the action. The Authority shall give the Contractor reasonable notice of any allegation, investigation, or proposed or actual penalty that relates to acts or omissions of the Contractor.
