Common use of Alarm and Monitoring Clause in Contracts

Alarm and Monitoring. BellSouth shall place environmental alarms in the Premises for the protection of BellSouth equipment and facilities. CLEC-1 shall be responsible for placement, monitoring and removal of environmental and equipment alarms used to service CLEC-1’s Collocation Space. Upon request, BellSouth will provide CLEC-1 with applicable tariffed service(s) to facilitate remote monitoring of collocated equipment by CLEC-1. Both Parties shall use best efforts to notify the other of any verified environmental condition known to that Party.

CLEC-1 shall be responsible for placement, monitoring and removal of environmental and equipment alarms used to service CLEC-1’s Collocation Space. Upon request, BellSouth will provide CLEC-1 with applicable tariffed service(s) to facilitate remote monitoring of collocated equipment by CLEC-1. Both Parties shall use best efforts to notify the other of any verified environmental condition hazard known to that Party. The Parties agree to utilize and adhere to the Environmental Hazard Guidelines identified as Exhibit B attached hereto.

CLEC-1 shall be responsible for placement, monitoring and removal of environmental and equipment alarms used to service CLEC-1’s Remote Collocation Space. Upon request, BellSouth will provide CLEC-1 with applicable tariffed service(s) to facilitate remote monitoring of collocated equipment by CLEC-1Space and for ordering the necessary services therefor. Both Parties shall use best efforts to notify the other of any verified environmental condition hazardous conditions known to that Party.
