Alcohol and gaming machines. Unless the Lessee first obtains the written consent of the Council, the Lessee must not apply for: (a) a liquor licence under the Liquor Licensing Act 1997; or (b) a gaming machine licence under the Gaming Machines Act 1992, anywhere on the Premises or on the Vessel. If the Lessee obtains a licence (or licences) under this clause 8.16, the Lessee must not do (or fail to do) or allow any of its employees, agent, contractors, licensees or invitees to do (or fail to do): (a) anything that is in breach of the Liquor Licensing Act 1997 and/or the Gaming Machines Act 1992 (as the case may be) or of the conditions of the relevant licence; or (b) anything that may result in the relevant licence being revoked or suspended.

Where an employee is absent from work because of illness or accident and has advised the company in accordance with Clause 33 – Personal Leave of the award, the company shall ensure that the employee’s tools are securely stored during his/her absence.
