Common use of Alterations or Additions Clause in Contracts

Without our written consent, you must not do any of the following things (even if they were proposed or in progress when the mortgage was entered into):‌  Make or permit a structural alteration to any part of the property.  Make or permit a material alteration or addition to any part of the property.  Remove any machinery or equipment that serves a building on the property.  Demolish a material part of a building on the property.  Do or permit anyone else to do anything that lowers the value of the property.
