Amending and Supplementing Contract Documents. The Contract Documents may be amended to provide for additions, deletions and revisions in the Work or to modify the terms and conditions thereof in one or more of the following ways: (a) a formal Written Amendment, (b) a Change Order, or (c) a Field Directive Change. The Contract price and the Contract Time may only be changed by the Change Order or a Written Amendment. In addition, the requirements of the Contract Documents may be supplemented and minor variations and deviations in the Work may be authorized, in one or more of the following ways: (a) a Field Change Order, (b) the AE approval of a Shop Drawing or sample, or (c) the AE written interpretation or clarification.
