Common use of Amount of Alimony Clause in Contracts

Amount of Alimony. Beginning on ____________ 1, 20__, and thereafter on or before the first day of each month, the [Husband/Wife] shall pay the [Husband/Wife] $_______ as alimony. The Husband and Wife shall designate all payments made pursuant to this paragraph as alimony and therefore includable in the income of the [Husband/Wife] and deductible from the income of the [Husband/Wife] for income tax purposes.
