Common use of Amount of Alimony Clause in Contracts

Amount of Alimony. On or before the first day of each month, beginning _______ 1, 20___, the [Husband/Wife] shall pay the [Husband/Wife] $________/month as alimony. The Husband and Wife shall designate all payments made pursuant to this paragraph as alimony and therefore includable in the income of the [Husband/Wife] and deductible from the income of the [Husband/Wife] for income tax purposes.
