Common use of AMOUNT OF ANNUITY PAYMENTS Clause in Contracts

AMOUNT OF ANNUITY PAYMENTS. If the amount of the Account Value to be applied under an Annuity Option is less than $5,000, we may make one lump sum payment equal to the then current Account Value in lieu of Annuity Payments. If the amount of the Annuity Payment would be less than $100, we may reduce the frequency of payments to an interval which will result in the payment being at least $100, but with a frequency of no less than annually.
