Ancillary and Extra-Curricular Activity Pay Schedule. 1. Professional Development a. The rate of pay for teachers involved in pre-approved professional development activities outside of regular school hours shall be $20.00 per hour up to a maximum of six (6) hours per pre-approved day. b. ECAs, including extra-curricular academic positions, will remain at the current levels. These positions and their compensation will be reviewed in the future and will be dependent on state funding levels. c. Some teacher benefits will increase annually because they are currently tied to teacher salaries. These include the Teacher’s Retirement Fund, social security, and long term disability insurance.
