and Witness. a) Where an employee has received a subpoena as a witness in a case to which she is not a party or has been called upon to act as a juror during her scheduled working days, she shall receive the difference between the indemnity which is paid her as witness or as a juror and the salary she would normally have earned if she would have worked her regularly scheduled hours during the said days. An employee who is summoned for jury duty but is not in fact chosen to sit as a juror, must present herself at work as soon as possible thereafter. Such employee may be required to establish that the duration of her absence was caused by the time necessary for waiting, being chosen or being set aside. Child Care Leave
