Annual Contractual Unit Count. The beginning Contractual Unit count of twenty-four thousand five hundred thirty-three (24,533) shall be the number of Contractual Units effective October 1, 2017, until September 30, 2018, unless pre-empted by the happening of a Force Majeure Event. Prior to June 15 of each year, the Contractor along with a representative of the City, shall perform an updated Contractual Unit count (aka, “house count”) to determine Contractual Unit Count Adjustment for the next year. Beginning with the 2018 count, the Annual Contractual Unit Count may be conducted by either a physical field inspection count, GIS-based house count or another mutually acceptable methodology as agreed to by the City and the Contractor. The Annual Unit Count so determined shall be the number of Contractual Units on the next Anniversary Date of this Contract for the purpose of determining monthly compensation to the Contractor for the next service year.

  • Vacation Earnings for Partial Years (1) During the first partial year of service a new employee will earn vacation at the rate of three and two-thirds (32/3) days for each month for which the employee earns ten (10) days pay.   • Power Factor Design Criteria (Reactive Power A wind generating plant shall maintain a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA, if the ISO’s System Reliability Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability. The power factor range standards can be met using, for example without limitation, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors if agreed to by the Connecting Transmission Owner for the Transmission District to which the wind generating plant will be interconnected, or a combination of the two. The Developer shall not disable power factor equipment while the wind plant is in operation. Wind plants shall also be able to provide sufficient dynamic voltage support in lieu of the power system stabilizer and automatic voltage regulation at the generator excitation system if the System Reliability Impact Study shows this to be required for system safety or reliability.

  • Salary Ranges A. The salary ranges for classifications covered by this Agreement shall be those contained in Appendix D. B. No one may be hired above or below the assigned salary range for his/her classification. Employees whose salaries are above the range assigned to their classification will have their salaries frozen until the salary range increases to include their salary.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 110. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time-and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime pursuant to the provisions of Section III.E.2. 111. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.
