Appeals From Denial of Promotion/Tenure/Reappointment. 1. A Faculty member adversely affected by a decision of the Xxxxxxx regarding denial of promotion, tenure or reappointment may file an appeal under the provisions of this Section 2 prior to final consideration of the matter by the President of the University, or may choose to appeal directly to the President of the University. In choosing to appeal directly to the President of the University, however, a Faculty member relinquishes all rights to file an appeal under this Section 2, including recourse to consideration by the Joint Appeals Board.
