Safeguarding requirements and procedures (1) The Contractor shall apply the following basic safeguarding requirements and procedures to protect covered contractor information systems. Prohibited Methods and Procedures The Contractor and its agents, subcontractors, employees, and representatives, in the course of the performance of Products and Services under this Agreement, shall not specify, recommend, use, or permit the use of any system, method, plan, design, process, procedure, patent, or copyright which, if used, infringes upon a proprietary interest or necessitates the payment of any royalty, fee, or commission. The Contractor shall not use or permit the solicitation for or securing of any agreement or employment in connection with this Agreement upon an agreement or arrangement for payment, either directly or indirectly, of a commission, percentage, brokerage, or contingent fee. If Federal funds are used to pay the Contractor under this Agreement, no part of the money appropriated by any enactment of Congress shall, in the absence of express authorization by Congress, be used directly or indirectly to pay for any personal service, advertisement, telegram, telephone, letter, printed or written matter, or other device, intended or designed to influence in any manner a member of Congress, to favor or oppose, by vote or otherwise, any legislation or appropriation by Congress, whether before or after the introduction of any xxxx or resolution proposing such legislation or appropriation; but this shall not prevent officers or employees of the United States or of its departments or agencies from communicating to members of Congress on the request of any member or to Congress, through the proper official channels, requests for legislation or appropriations which they deem necessary for the efficient conduct of the public business. 18 U.S.C. § 1913 (2002).
Procedures for Providing NP Through Full NXX Code Migration Where a Party has activated an entire NXX for a single Customer, or activated at least eighty percent (80%) of an NXX for a single Customer, with the remaining numbers in that NXX either reserved for future use by that Customer or otherwise unused, if such Customer chooses to receive Telephone Exchange Service from the other Party, the first Party shall cooperate with the second Party to have the entire NXX reassigned in the LERG (and associated industry databases, routing tables, etc.) to an End Office operated by the second Party. Such transfer will be accomplished with appropriate coordination between the Parties and subject to appropriate industry lead times for movements of NXXs from one switch to another. Neither Party shall charge the other in connection with this coordinated transfer.
COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND STANDARDS 9.1.1 Each party must comply with all Applicable Laws in performing their obligations under this Agreement.
SUPPLIER STANDARDS OF CONDUCT Accenture is committed to conducting its business free from unlawful, unethical or fraudulent activity. Supplier will act in a manner consistent with the ethical and professional standards of Accenture as described in the Accenture Supplier Standards of Conduct, including prompt reporting of unlawful, fraudulent or unethical conduct. Human and Financial Resources to Implement Safeguards Requirements 6. The Borrower shall make available necessary budgetary and human resources to fully implement the EMP and the RP.
Compliance with all Applicable Laws and Regulations Grantee must comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances in administering CRF under this Agreement. Grantee acknowledges that this requirement includes, but is not limited to, compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local health and safety rules and regulations. Grantee’s failure to comply with any part of this provision is material and must be grounds for termination of this Agreement for cause by Florida Housing.
Compliance with Applicable Laws and Regulations (a) The Company shall not be required to issue or deliver any Shares pursuant to this Agreement pending compliance with all applicable federal and state securities and other laws (including any registration requirements or tax withholding requirements) and compliance with the rules and practices of any stock exchange upon which the Company’s Shares are listed.
