Common use of Applications and Service Date Clause in Contracts

Applications and Service Date. A customer who desires service under this tariff shall apply through its chosen Supplier. Unless the Company determines that the customer is not eligible to become a transportation customer of the Supplier, the Company shall transfer the customer to the Supplier’s pool on the customer’s next regularly scheduled meter reading date that is twelve (12) or more calendar days from the date the Company receives the transfer request from the Supplier. The Company shall notify the Supplier of the actual transfer date. A customer may request termination of service under this tariff and return to the Company’s sales service by notifying the Company, and the request will become effective on the customer’s next regularly scheduled meter reading date that is twelve (12) or more calendar days from the receipt of such notification. In the event that a customer is returned to sales service for non-payment, the Supplier shall provide the Company with notice of termination and shall comply with all notice requirements of the Suppliers’ Code of Conduct set forth in Rate FRAS, Sheet No. 44.
