Notice and Service Thereof. 1.5.1 Any notice from one party to the other or otherwise under the Contract Documents shall be in writing and shall be dated and signed by the party giving notice or by a duly authorized representative of that party. Notice shall not be effective for any purpose whatsoever unless served in one of the following manners:
1.5.1.1 If notice is given by personal delivery thereof, it shall be considered delivered on the day of delivery.
1.5.1.2 If notice is given by overnight delivery service, it shall be considered delivered one (1) day after date deposited, as indicated by the delivery service.
1.5.1.3 If notice is given by depositing same in United States mail, enclosed in a sealed envelope, it shall be considered delivered five (5) days after date deposited, as indicated by the postmarked date.
1.5.1.4 If notice is given by registered or certified mail with postage prepaid, return receipt requested, it shall be considered delivered on the day the notice is signed for.

29.1 Contractor shall at all times enforce strict discipline and good order among his employees. Contractor shall not employ on work any unfit person or anyone not skilled in work assigned to him.
29.2 Any person in the employ of the Contractor whom the District may deem incompetent or unfit shall be dismissed from work and shall not again be employed on it except with the written consent of District.
29.3 The District reserves the right to request that the Project Supervisor be replaced immediately.
