Appointment and Advanced Step Hiring. The City Manager, when making appointments to either the Maintenance Worker, Fleet Technician I, Custodial Worker or Electrical Worker classifications, is authorized to recognize the overall qualifications of candidates in determining their placement within the wage structure.
