Appointment/Assignment Pay. Upon assignment of acting duty status, an employee will begin to earn a salary which is equal to Step A of the salary assigned to the acting position, but shall at all times receive at least five (5) range points (e.g., ten [10] half-points) above the salary of the employee's permanent position.
