ACTING APPOINTMENT COMPENSATION Sample Clauses

The Acting Appointment Compensation clause establishes the terms under which an employee temporarily assigned to a higher-level position receives additional pay. Typically, this clause outlines the eligibility criteria for acting appointments, the amount or method of calculating the compensation, and the duration for which the extra pay applies. By clearly defining compensation for temporary assignments, the clause ensures fairness and incentivizes employees to take on additional responsibilities when needed.
