Appointment Year Clause Samples
The "Appointment Year" clause defines the specific 12-month period during which an appointment, contract, or engagement is considered active for the purposes of the agreement. Typically, this period may begin on the date the agreement is signed or on another mutually agreed-upon date, and it is used to measure obligations, performance, or entitlements such as fees, renewals, or deliverables within that timeframe. By clearly establishing the relevant annual period, this clause ensures both parties have a shared understanding of timelines, reducing ambiguity and potential disputes regarding the duration of responsibilities or benefits.
