Assault While On Duty. Whenever an educator is absent from his/her assignment as a result of an unjustified assault arising out of and in the course of his/her employment, he/she shall be paid his/her full salary for the period of such absence not to exceed his/her contract and such paid absence shall in no event be deducted from any sick leave to which such educator is entitled.
