Common use of Assignment by Contractor Clause in Contracts

Assignment by Contractor. The Contractor may not assign or delegate, in whole or in part, or otherwise transfer any liability, responsibility, obligation, duty or interest under this Contract, provided however, that the Primary Operator may approve the assignment of present and prospective claims for money due and owing to the Contractor pursuant to this Contract to a bank, trust company or other financial institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
