Assignment of Personnel for Emergencies. 18.6.1 An “emergency” is defined as work that cannot be done during District hours as determined by the Superintendent/President or designee and work that is necessary to protect the value of buildings and contents from further damage and to protect the health and welfare of students, faculty, other employees and the public. 18.6.2 Emergency assignments shall not be applied for punitive or preferential reasons.
