Common use of Assignment of Warranties Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Warranties. Without limiting CM/GC's post-construction obligations pursuant to this Contract, CM/GC shall assign to Owner all post-construction warranties resulting from CM/GC's agreements with third parties, subject to CM/GC's reservation of rights under such warranties to the extent necessary to enable CM/GC to fulfill its obligations to Owner hereunder. Moreover, CM/GC shall protect Owner's interest in all such warranties and shall take no action nor commit an act or omission that renders such warranties void or voidable.
