Common use of Assignment or Transfer of Contract Clause in Contracts

Assignment or Transfer of Contract. The Contractor shall not, without the prior written approval of the Accepting Officer, assign or transfer the Contract or any part thereof, or any share, or interest therein to any other person. No sum of money which may become payable under the Contract shall be payable to any person other than the Contractor unless the prior written approval of the Accepting Officer to the assignment or transfer of such money is given.
