This documents highlights the need for a common international approach in order to achieve a minimum data protection standards for health-related data. The recommendation provides rules concerning the sharing of health-related data for purposes of providing and administering health care and purposes other than the mentioned ones.129 Besides drafting legal conditions for data processing of health-related data, it also contains specific provisions, amongst others, for scientific research, mobile applications, trans-border flows of health- related data, electronic health records, health-related data and open data, automated decision making, intersectionality and health-related data.130
