ATTENDANCE AT COURT PROCEEDINGS. 8.01 (a) A teacher who is required to attend court proceedings or an official inquiry related to actions by the teacher in the course of his/her duties, other than a criminal court proceeding where the teacher has been charged with a criminal offence, will suffer no loss in pay or benefits while attending such proceedings. It is understood that this Article does not apply to the grievance procedure or arbitration.
