Absences. The Executive shall be entitled to vacations in accordance with the Company’s vacation policy in effect from time to time (but in no event shall the Executive be entitled to fewer vacation days than under the Company’s vacation policy as in effect on the Effective Date) and to absences because of illness or other incapacity, and shall also be entitled to such other absences, whether for holiday, personal time, conventions, or for any other purpose, as are granted to the Company’s other executive officers or as are approved by the Board of Directors or the Committee, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.
Absences. The Tenant agrees to tell the Landlord if he or she is to be absent from the Let Property for any reason for a period of more than 14 days. The Tenant must take such measures as the Landlord may reasonably require to secure the Let Property prior to such absence and take appropriate reasonable measures to meet the ‘Reasonable Care’ section below.
Absences. Where practicable, notification of absence should be made to the employer well in advance of shift commencement time in order that alternative staffing arrangements can be made. Employees are encouraged to make arrangements to secure a replacement with other employees where possible. Any such arrangements must be approved by management.
Absences. The Employee shall be entitled to vacations of no less than four (4) weeks per calendar year, absences because of illness or other incapacity, and such other absences, whether for holiday, personal time, or for any other purpose, as set forth in the Company's employment manual or current procedures and policies, as the case may be, as same may be amended from time-to-time.
Absences. Section 1. All leaves of absence shall be without pay except as otherwise provided in this Article.
a. Employees may request personal leaves of absence. Each request must be in writing and must specify the reason the leave of absence is desired. Earned time off will not have to be exhausted prior to a personal leave of absence.
b. Employees who are eligible under the provisions of the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 will be subject to the provisions of that Act and to subsequent changes in the Act as they may occur.
c. Any employee may request up to thirty (30) days of absence based on other reasons not included in b. above.
d. Employees with at least twelve (12) months Continuous Service with the Company may request leaves of absence longer than thirty (30) days for the following reasons: service in the Peace Corps or VISTA; appointment or campaign/election to public office. Employees who are absent under this provision for more than thirty (30) consecutive calendar days are not guaranteed reinstatement with the Company.
e. To the extent authorized by law, employees who are granted leaves of absence of thirty (30) days or less shall suffer no break in service or loss of benefits. Upon return, such employees shall be reinstated to their former job title and rate of pay.
f. In requesting any of the above leaves of absence, employees shall give due consideration to the Company’s ability to replace their services during such a leave, and such leave shall be granted solely at the discretion of the Company. Should the Company grant such leave, permission shall be in writing setting forth the dates for such leave.

An employee need not exhaust their contractual time off prior to taking this leave of absence. Upon return, these employees shall be reinstated to their former job title and rate of pay.
c. Periods of absence in excess of thirty (30) days (leaves of absence) are governed by the provisions described in the Leave of Absence Summary Plan Description (SPD). All such leaves must be requested in writing.
Absences. In accordance with School and M-DCPS Daily Attendance Policies, students must be physically present in school for a minimum of 2 hours in order to be counted as present for attendance purposes each day. For each day a student is absent, Parents/guardians must submit supporting documentation explaining the reason for the absence. Documentation submitted more than 3 days (72 hours) after the student’s return to school will not be accepted, and the absence(s) will be deemed unexcused. Students with excessive absences will be referred to the administration/Attendance Review Committee. Referrals will be issued after reaching the school’s maximum allowance, and may result in the student’s report card reflecting insufficient attendance for receiving a grade. Please be advised: for students in grades 9-12, five (5) or more unexcused absences in a semester course or ten (10) or more in an annual course, may result in the withholding of a student’s grade. • Arrival: Arrival time is from am to am. Students must be in their seats at the commencement of homeroom in the morning. Any student arriving after the commencement of homeroom will receive a tardy pass. Students arriving or departing outside of the School’s designated times may be enrolled in a before-care program, where available, including all applicable fees. Please be advised: Mater Academy is not responsible for students who arrive more than thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of school, except for those who are enrolled in and pay fees to the before-care program.
Absences. The Tenant agrees to tell the Landlord if he or she is to be absent from the Let Property for any reason for a period of more than 14 days. The Tenant must take such measures as the Landlord may reasonably require to secure the Let Property prior to such absence and take appropriate reasonable measures to meet the 'Reasonable Care' section below. The Landlord shall be entitled to arrange for regular inspections of the Let Property by the Landlord, his or her representatives, his or her Agent, or a member of their staff while the Let Property is unoccupied. The Tenant shall be responsible for the reasonable costs of such inspections.
Absences. Tenant is required to notify Landlord in writing of any anticipated absence from the Premises in excess of seven (7) days, and shall make arrangements for the Premises to be routinely checked on during absence. Such written notice must be provided no later than the first day of any such absence. Landlord may enter the Premises at any time for any reasonable purpose during Xxxxxx’s absence.
Absences. For the purposes of this Paragraph 68, an employee who has been employed in any of the job classifications covered by this Agreement shall not be removed from the Industry Experience Roster for any of the following reasons:
(1) Absence because of illness not exceeding one (1) year;
(2) Absence because of military service;
(3) Absence because of service (in the same line of occupation pursued by the employee in the motion picture industry) for the United States Government on any research projects for the defense of the United States, provided such employee was expressly recruited by authorized government representatives for such service;
(4) Employment in a paid full-time job in Los Angeles County, California by the IATSE or a Local Union of the IATSE subject to the Producer-I.A.T.S.E. and M.P.T.A.A.C. Basic Agreement;
(5) Employment by the Producer as a supervisor when employee has had previous work and experience in the motion picture industry in the job classifications covered by this Agreement. The burden of proving the above absences from service with Producer shall be on the employee.
