AUDITION GUIDELINES. Judges score your overall performance for each of the following categories/subcategories: o Performance ▪ Performers in-tune and well-rehearsed ▪ Stage presence (charisma/personality/attention grabbing) ▪ Overall musicianship ▪ Overall appearance (presentation, set-up, image) o Material ▪ Suitable song choices for event ▪ Suitable for performers abilities ▪ Will it hold audiences’ attention? • The show run-time is approx. 2 hours and will be filled by the highest audition scores. • Results will be posted as soon as possible after the auditions. • The running order will be published 48 hours before the show. • Band line-up and equipment cannot be changed between audition and performance without DIME staff authorization. • All performers must be available on the day of the event for the following: o Dress Rehearsal, Load-in/Pre-Show Briefing • Keep stage attire appropriate.

  • General Guidelines Conduct yourself in a responsible manner at all times in the laboratory.
