Authority of Project Inspector; Stop Work Notices. The designated Project Inspector shall be considered to be a representative of the District. It is the Project 15 Inspector’s duty to inspect the Work. 16 17 The District shall have the authority to order the work designated for inspection stopped if a determination is 18 made that work is proceeding in violation of the Construction Documents or any orders issued by the District, 19 District’s Representative, or Architect. The failure of the District to order the work stopped does not excuse 20 the Entity from complying with the Construction Documents for that work. 21
