Common use of AUTHORITY OF THE CONTRACT Clause in Contracts

AUTHORITY OF THE CONTRACT. If any provision of this Agreement, or the application of such provision, should be rendered or declared invalid by any court action, or by reason of any existing or subsequently enacted legislation, the remaining parts or portions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. The parties shall thereafter attempt to renegotiate the invalidated provision(s) of the Agreement.
