Common use of Authority to Bind Contractor Clause in Contracts

Authority to Bind Contractor. Notwithstanding anything in this Agreement to the contrary, the signatory for the Contractor represents that he/she has been duly authorized to execute contracts on behalf of the Contractor and has obtained all necessary or applicable approvals from the home office of the Contractor to make this Agreement fully binding upon the Contractor when his/her signature is affixed and is not subject to home office acceptance hereto when accepted by the IEDC.
