Common use of Authority to Withhold Clause in Contracts

Authority to Withhold. Citizens reserves the right to withhold, offset or deny payment of commission should the Agency’s authority to conduct Citizens’ business be suspended or terminated or should the Agency otherwise not fully comply with the terms of this Agreement. Additionally, pursuant to the “Commissions and Service Fees” section of Citizens’ Plan of Operation, Citizens may withhold or deny commissions on any policy or coverage not bound in accordance with the Agent Guidelines.
