Common use of Automatic Layoff Clause in Contracts

Automatic Layoff. Notwithstanding Article 14.03 entitled "Notice of Layoff", employees who work on the basis of the student year shall be deemed to be laid off for the school vacation periods. Recall following the school vacation periods shall be automatic unless the Employer has served indefinite layoff notice under Article 14.03.
