Common use of Availability of Technology Clause in Contracts

Availability of Technology. The goal is equitable availability of technology (including software) to unit members in similar assignments. It is understood, however, that there are differing timetables for implementing technology or technology updates. As a result, it is not likely that all unit members will have access to the same technology at the same time. Variables include: new school construction, facility constraints, availability of bond dollars, budget constraints, etc.
