Common use of Awarding Clause in Contracts

Awarding. 12.03.01 The Company agrees to award and to fill posted vacancies within the bargaining unit in the following order: i. by classification seniority to the senior applicant within the base ii. by classification seniority to the senior applicant within the system iii. by bargaining unit seniority to the senior applicant within the system

Awarding. 12.03.01 The Company agrees to award and to fill posted vacancies within the bargaining unit in the following order: i. by classification seniority to the senior applicant within the base ii. by classification seniority to the senior applicant within the system system iii. by bargaining unit seniority to the senior applicant within the system iv. if there are no applicants, the Company shall have the right to hire the applicant of its choice. 12.03.02 In the event the Company elects, a successful bidder may be held in their former position up to thirty (30) days.
