Background Processing. ‌ • Extended Maintenance Adoption Subsidy (EMAS) page cannot be created unless there is an existing, active Adoption Subsidy Agreement Information (AAA) page for the selected case participant who is between the ages of 16 and 21 as of 01/01/2019. If the participant does not have an existing, active AAA page where the answer is "Yes" to the question “Do the adoptive parent(s) and child elect to opt into the Extension of Maintenance Adoption Subsidy Program?,” FSFN will compare the participant's Date of Birth to 01/01/2019 to validate their age. o If the participant is between 16 and 21 years of age as of 01/01/2019, FSFN will allow the EMAS page to be created regardless of whether or not the young adult has opted into the EMAS program. o If the participant does not have an active AAA page or is not between the ages of 16 and 21, then the following validation message will display when attempting to create the page: "The selected participant must have an existing Adoption Subsidy Agreement Information page indicating they opted in, in order to create the Extended Maintenance Adoption Subsidy page." • The Extended Maintenance Adoption Subsidy page can be accessed from with the Youth/Young Adult icon on the Desktop Outliner. The hyperlink in the outliner is displayed as “Extended Maintenance Adoption Subsidy <Effective Date/ Date of Agreement> Young Adult Name”. The Terminate Reason and associated Terminate Date will be displayed beneath the hyperlink in plain black text, if applicable. • Service Type drop down displays only those Service Types which are Placements AND have Payments Allowed checked which is documented from Maintain Service Type and Rate. • Service Category Type drop down displays only those Service Category Types which are associated with Service Types that have Payments Allowed checked which is documented from Maintain Service Type and Rate. • Values entered into the Agreement Amount and the Additional $ per month fields should be monthly dollar amounts. The values do not drive payments. The actual payment is derived from the Out of Home Placement and Services pages. • The Fiscal Agency drop down defaults blank. Background Processing.  When a row is inserted within any of the Placement Requirements group boxes, the Begin Date is required.  Upon terminating the Child Placement Agreement, the End Date field is required.  The Actions column contains a Delete hyperlink that is available to the user upon inserting a new row, but is no longer displayed after succesfully saving the Child Placement Agreement page. Background Processing. Following the initial creation of the Child Placement Agreement page, each time the page is subsequently launched, it will default to the first tab labeled Current Child Placement Agreement.  Information in each group box on the Current Child Placement Agreement tab only displays following the initial creation and saving of the page; otherwise, each group box displays as blank.  If the most recent record on the Child Placement Agreement Details tab has a Purpose = Respite/Visitation, it will not be included in the logic for the Current Child Placement Agreement tab. FSFN will then look for the next to most recent record on the Child Placement Agreement Details tab where the Purpose is NOT Respite/ Visitation. If all records on the Child Placement Agreement Details tab have a Purpose = Respite/ Visitation, the fields on this tab will all display “No Data Found”.  Please refer to the logic outlined in the table above for each group box and field contained on the Current Child Placement Agreement tab.
