Bargaining Unit Seniority Date. Bargaining unit seniority shall be the date the employee was hired into a regular full time bargaining unit position. Seniority shall be on a bargaining unit basis, in accordance with the employee’s bargaining unit seniority date. Seniority shall not be affected by the race, sex, marital status, height, weight, disability, national origin, religion, or dependents of the employee, or any other classification protected by federal, state or City of Ypsilanti law.
