Common use of Being Clause in Contracts

Being. a Party to this Agreement does not by itself assure any Party that Assistance will be provided if, when or as requested. Each Party reserves the sole right to respond or not to respond to requests for Assistance on a case-by-case basis. By signing this Agreement, each Party thereby agrees that any Assistance which is received or given upon the request of a Party to this Agreement shall be subject to each and every one of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
