Bending properties Sample Clauses

The 'Bending properties' clause defines the required mechanical characteristics of materials, specifically their ability to withstand bending forces without failure. It typically sets out the minimum standards or test methods for measuring how much a material can bend before cracking or breaking, often referencing industry standards or specifying acceptable ranges for properties like modulus of elasticity or flexural strength. This clause ensures that materials used in construction or manufacturing are suitable for their intended structural applications, thereby reducing the risk of material failure and enhancing overall safety and reliability.
