Benefit Levels. Regarding medical benefit plans, Public Act 152 states a public employer will pay not more than 80% OR not more than the hard cap, as defined annually by the State of Michigan-Department of Treasury, of the total annual costs of the medical benefit plans it offers to employees and eligible dependents. Annually, the Employer will elect the option with the lowest co-premiums for the majority of the employees.
