Benefits of the scheme. 2.1 The purpose of the scheme is to provide the Parent/Guardian with a cost effective alternative to purchasing an iPad, through providing access to departmental-owned iPads purchased at reduced prices through the school’s bulk purchasing practices. Such provision is an education service that is not met by the State under s.50 (2) of the Education General Provisions Act 2006.
