Benefits Payable to Minors, Incompetents and Others. In the event any benefit is payable to a minor or to a Participant or Beneficiary declared incompetent by a court having jurisdiction over such matters and a guardian, committee, conservator or other legal representative of the estate of such a person is appointed, benefits to which he or she is entitled shall be paid to the legally appointed person. The receipt by any such person to whom any such payment on behalf of any Participant or Beneficiary is made shall be a sufficient discharge therefor.
