Common use of Bid Over-runs Clause in Contracts

Bid Over-runs. If the lowest responsible and responsive bid received by the Owner for the Work is greater than the budgeted Cost of the Work, the Designer will, upon instructions from the Owner, make revisions to the Revit Model, Drawings and Specifications, consistent with the Approved Project Program, as may be necessary to re- bid the Work within the budgeted Cost of the Work, or a higher amount as may be authorized by the Owner. The Owner will cooperate with the Designer in revising the scope and quality of the Work as necessary to reduce the Cost of the Work. Compensation for such revision of the Revit Model, Drawings and Specifications shall be determined as follows:
