Common use of Billing Period Clause in Contracts

Billing Period. The Contractor may submit monthly, or less frequently, an invoice for payment based on the estimated completion of the described tasks and approved work schedule. Subject to Chapter 2251, Texas Government Code (the “Prompt Payment Act”), payment is due within thirty (30) days of the City’s receipt of the Contractor’s invoice. Interest on overdue payments shall be calculated in accordance with the Prompt Payment Act.
