Common use of Blanket Insurance Clause in Contracts

Blanket Insurance. Each party shall be entitled to fulfill its insurance obligations hereunder by maintaining a so-called "blanket" policy or policies of insurance in such form as to provide by specific endorsement coverage not less than that which is required hereunder for the particular property or interest referred to herein.

Such policy shall contain an endorsement that names the other party as to provide by specific endorsement an additional insured, references the Premises, and guarantees a minimum limit of coverage not less than that which is required hereunder available for the particular property or interest referred obligations under this Lease at least equal to hereinthe insurance amounts required hereunder. Tenant’s right to fulfill its insurance obligations hereunder through a “blanket” policy shall be subject to approval of such policy by Landlord and Landlord’s lender(s).
