Common use of Blanket Insurance Clause in Contracts

Blanket Insurance. Borrower may effect the insurance coverage herein required under its blanket insurance policies; provided that: Any such policy or policies of blanket insurance either shall specify therein, or the Borrower shall furnish the Lender with written statement from the insurer (or from the Borrower’s insurance broker) under such policy or policies specifying: (1) the maximum amount of the total insurance afforded by the blanket policy allocated to the Property, (2) any sublimits in such blanket policy or policies applicable to the Property, which amounts shall not be less than the amounts required pursuant to this Exhibit 5.5 and (3) no margin clause applies to the Property; Any policy of blanket insurance hereunder shall comply in all respects with the other provisions of this Exhibit 5.5; and The protection afforded the Borrower under any policy of blanket insurance hereunder shall be no less than that which would have been afforded under a separate policy or policies relating only to the Property.
