Common use of Blended Courses Clause in Contracts

Blended Courses. A blended course is a course which has two groups of students enrolled in the course- online students and students who will receive instruction face to face in the regular classroom. The course has a single syllabus, a common set of assignments, a common schedule and curriculum. Faculty teaching a blended course shall receive incentive pay at a rate of $250. Blended course enrollments will be capped at thirty (30) students per blended course counting the total of face to face and online students. If the total course enrollment exceeds thirty (30) students, the faculty member will receive the equivalent of two-thirds (2/3) in-state tuition per student above the enrollment cap.
