Bodily Assault: Deductible (Co-Pay) Reimbursement by District. If the employee is injured by assault during the scope of their workday, the employee will be reimbursed by the District for their medical co-pay charges. The employee injured because of a personal assault arising from and/or in the scope of their employment, will not be deducted sick leave days for an absence owing to such assault. If the employee is eligible to receive benefits under a medical insurance plan, co-pays required by the provider will be reimbursed by the District.
